The Google My Business mobile app is officially no more You can no longer manage your business profile, interact with customers, or view insights using the Google My Business mobile app. The app now informs you that "the Google My Business app is no longer available" when you attempt to access it. To many of us, this is not really news. Google informed us back in November, when it changed its name from Google My Business to Google Business Profile, that the Google My Business app would be totally retired in 2022 – and in the month of July that time has finally arrived. New auto-response feature for FAQs You can now build up automated responses to frequently asked questions from clients using a new feature that Google is rolling out for Google Business Profiles. This new feature works very similarly to how many chatbots work. When customers [message your company]( using your Google Business Profile, you can recommend questions for them to ask. You can also set up automated responses to the questions. These automated questions and responses are a great way to direct customers from the results page and onto your website as you can include links in your responses. Google Business posts now expire after 6 months
Users of Google Posts[received emails]( informing them that the new six-month expiration period has been implemented. You can see a screenshot of what the email looks like below: Google Business posts used to expire after 7 days, so why the change to 6 months? According to Google, in order "to keep attracting customers, get into the habit of sharing updates, exclusive events, and more." Conversion, bounce rate, and UTM parameters have been added to GA4 3 new metrics have been added to Google Analytics 4 – Conversion, Bounce rate, and UTM parameters. The metrics will be viewable via reports, segments, explorations, audiences, and the Google Analytics data API.
