When they stated "standalone," they meant it, with built-in speakers, WiFi connectivity, and full-color display. Then Pioneer DJ's DDJ-FLX6 answered the age-old question of "Serato or rekordbox?" by saying "Why not both?" with a flexible DJ controller that unlocks both software packages -- on an instrument kitted out with unique Merge and jog cutter effects.
