Since those humble beginnings in 1985, Mojave Audio has focused on using premium components and perfecting custom designs, becoming one of the most respected mic companies among high-end engineers. Mojave Audio builds condenser microphones using Jensen transformers, NOS (new old stock) tubes, and custom-made resistors. David's research informs all aspects of each mic's construction, and they are subject to extensive QC inspection and testing. This attention to detail is evident in the finished product -- Mojave's tube condensers are warm and detailed, and their FET condensers respond quickly to transients without sounding harsh.
