Wow, {NAME}, Did you see the email below from my team last week? Our new primary is on August 23rd!

[Zimmerman For Congress logo]( Wow, {NAME}, Did you see the email below from my team last week? Our new primary is on August 23rd! I can’t tell you how proud I am of my staff, our team of volunteers, and our supporters from every corner of New York’s 3rd District for getting us this far in the race. And I know that I can count on you through these extra two months of campaigning. [So, take a look at the email from my team below, and please consider chipping $5 or whatever you can to keep us going through the new primary election day.]( If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately: [Express Donate $5]( [Express Donate $25]( [Express Donate $50]( [Express Donate $100]( [Express Donate $250]( [Donate Other Amount]( Thank you, Robert [DONATE]( ---------- Forwarded message --------- From: Team Zimmerman Date: Thurs, May 5, 2022 Subject: Mark your calendars ** WE HAVE A NEW PRIMARY DATE** This is big news for our campaign, friends. Just last week, in a 4-3 decision, the New York State Court of Appeals struck down New York’s new congressional map – completely altering the district boundaries for our election and pushing back our June 28th primary election all the way back to August 23rd. That means we have a lot more work to do before Election Day, and we're going to need all hands on deck to send Robert to Congress. Our grassroots campaign is relying on contributions from supporters like YOU to keep us running strong. [Will you rush a donation of $5 to keep us powered all the way through the primary?]( [DONATE ONCE]( [DONATE MONTHLY]( Robert is running for Congress because he understands that, no matter the district lines, the issues facing our communities are of paramount importance. And let's be clear, even with this court ruling, he's staying in this fight because he knows New York deserves progress. Our democracy is still under the greatest threat since the Civil War, the climate crisis is still escalating unchecked, and New Yorkers are still struggling to get by. The leaked Supreme Court decision on Roe v. Wade shows us that the rights of women – and indeed all of our rights – are under attack. What does this mean for our campaign? Well, the delay until August means we are completely rewriting our campaign plans. Our budget, polling, advertising – all of it will need to be redone for a brand new district. Robert still has the momentum in this race – with the best fundraising, most endorsements, and largest organizing infrastructure – but we need to make sure we're preparing now so Robert can run the most competitive campaign possible in the new district. We have months of canvassing to do, extra flyers to print, and many more cups of coffee to brew. [So, if you can, keep up the amazing support and chip in $5 towards a strong start to May. >>]( [DONATE]( Thank you, Team Zimmerman PAID FOR BY ZIMMERMAN FOR CONGRESS Zimmerman for Congress PO Box 220363 Great Neck, New York 11022 This email was sent to: {EMAIL}.
