Of course Iâll still be bringing you our best stories and gist, but Iâll also be waking up by 11 a.m. because Iâm practising for a life of riches and selective laziness ðð½. Hey Toheeb. Is todayâs Naira Life subject single? ð Have you even read the story? Ifoghale, heâs married, please. Even though! We can be friends. Would you say heâs balling? LMAO. Are you expecting $9800 from your employers at the end of this month? There you go. But thatâs not why I chose to write this story this week. There was a conversation online about how thereâs money to be made in tech, and while this isnât untrue, some of the arguments I read were like âjust enter tech and the money will come almost immediately.â I think framing the ecosystem as a âget-rich-quickâ arrangement is dishonest. For example, it took this guy about eight years before he hit a monthly salary of â¦1m. Thatâs a big little detail. What would you say is the coolest thing about his story? He wanted to go to school abroad for his masterâs degree but ended up on the wrong floor of the building and opted for some IT certifications instead. I wonder where he would be now if he had gone to the right floor and applied to a school abroad. Aw man, that was incredible! Tell me something interesting about him thatâs not in the story. He met his wife in NYSC camp and their first couple of interactions were quite funny. (Long story haha). His income jumped from â¦1.3m to almost â¦5m between 2020 and now.
