On October 7, a devastating attack by thousands of Hamas-led terrorists across the Israeli border from Gaza resulted in the tragic loss of approximately 1,200 lives, mostly civilians. The brutality of these attacks, including rape, torture, and other heinous crimes, has left an indelible mark. In the chaos, around 240 people were taken hostage, with 132 still in captivity, their fates uncertain. Israel's response was entering Gaza, aiming to dismantle Hamas and its threat to national security, and to rescue the hostages. To date, the IDF reports over 8,500 Hamas fighters have been neutralized in Gaza, adding to the 1,000 terrorists confronted within Israel on that fateful day. However, the conflict extends beyond Gaza, with the growing threat from Hezbollah, as highlighted by missile attacks earlier today claiming more lives. Additionally, regional stability is further undermined by the Houthis attacking commercial vessels in the Red Sea, and the looming concern of Iran's advancing nuclear program, bringing it closer to atomic bomb capabilities.
