Earlier today, Hezbollah operatives attempted to damage the border fence, throwing fireworks towards Metulla and causing mines to explode on the Lebanese side of the border. IDF forces were swiftly deployed to the area, and the suspects were deterred using non-lethal riot dispersal methods. These incidents are part of a larger pattern of provocations, which some experts believe are being carried out with the intention of sparking a war. Hezbollah's position is stronger than ever, and they may see this as an opportunity to increase their grip on Lebanon, which is currently in crisis. The stakes have never been higher.
