Dear friend, yesterday there was a terrible attack in Jerusalem. It is among the worst attacks in the recent history... ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ [terror]( Dearest friend, Over Shabbat this week Israel witnessed a terrible terror attack in Jerusalem - a murderous rampage outside a synagogue Friday night in the Neve Yaakov neighborhood of Jerusalem. A terrorist arrived to the Ateret Avraham synagogue at around 8 p.m. and opened fire at people walking nearby. He then attempted to flee the scene by car and fired in the direction of Israel Police officers who fired back and killed him. The IDF added three more battalions to its West Bank presence on Saturday morning following a second terrorist attack in the City of David. In addition, approximately 40 individuals have been detained by the police since Friday night and are being questioned in order to find out if the attacker had any help. Israel has been experiencing an increased wave of terror in recent months. The Shin Bet reports that they thwarted over 330 significant attacks in the past year, including 34 bombings and two suicide bombing attempts. Unfortunately, not all attacks can be prevented, and the cruel terror attack in Jerusalem took the life of a young teenager and seriously injured 19 others. Therefore, we at Zaka Tel Aviv are raising the alert and will monitor the situation throughout the country. In the upcoming hours, we will erect additional command centers, dedicated to mobilizing all available resources. Please help us in this critical time so we can do our absolute best to protect as many lives as possible. [DONATE NOW]( Thank you for your help in this difficult time.
