Profit from the Pros Investment Mirage or Start of New Trend? The stock market has been led by the "usual suspect" stocks all year long. I am referring to the outperformance by conservative large cap stocks and the glamour tech stocks that everyone loves (FANGs, NVIDIA, Tesla etc). On Thursday we saw a glimmer of hope that other stocks might finally participate in the 2017 rally. While the large cap indices were in the red we actually saw ample profits accumulate in the small cap index. Also, interesting to note that one of the most beleaguered groups, retail, had a rip-roaring session. Plain a simple, this is the right path for the market. To broaden out the gains to other groups. This prevents the market from becoming top heavy and ripe for a tumble. Big companies are less likely to be rocked by market dips and scary headlines. Most are well-known and it's hard to get the jump on other investors. Yet some are little known and have surprising growth potential. Those are the ones Zacks is targeting. For example, earlier this year our unique large-cap strategy closed a gain of +112.4% in less than 4 months. If you'd like to see the latest stocks in our portfolio there's a special advantage for doing so by midnight Sunday, August 27.
