Profit from the Pros Stocks Cheer Jobs, Shrug Off Tariffs, Optimistic On Earnings Stocks surged higher on Monday, adding to Friday's gains after another better than expected jobs report. There was not much in the way of new economic reports yesterday, but last week's outsized employment numbers should continue to underpin the market for some time to come. The market has also been able to shrug off the latest tariff concerns. With estimates suggesting that trade tensions will only cost the S&P a couple percent in earnings growth, more and more traders are realizing that's not enough to derail this bull market.
