it does cause chaos in a city that is ill-equipped to handle its rare flurries. As we're newbie

[yTravel_logo__250_x_72_.png] [ville-murals.jpg] Hi {NAME} Last week, I missed my Friday check in due to dealing with our COVID issues and a few inches of snow in Raleigh. [Even though it's so pretty,]( it does cause chaos in a city that is ill-equipped to handle its rare flurries. As we're newbie homeowners in a climate so unlike our native one that doesn't freeze over, this past week we learned that outdoor irrigation taps/faucets need to be winterized. Thanks to the freeze we had our one cracked. Yep made of stainless steal cracked by ice. It can really do that. That was an expensive lesson and I'm not sure how long it was spurting water out all over the house, but at least the city covers the cost of that water wastage. So yeah, pretty, but such a pain! I think we can move into summer now. And I think we can close the book on COVID. Except we have one last run of it. Savannah tested positive yesterday. She doesn't have one single symptom and is so sad to miss school and her basketball games this weekend. Oh well. It will all be over soon. Take care and have a great weekend. Caroline READING | WATCHING | FOLLOWING | LISTENING - Ozark So happy it's returned!! - Instant Hotel and Luxe Listings Sydney: enjoying a taste of home with these two shows.
