"Oh boy was that unsatisfying." A barrage of bad news and anger. I picked up the inspiring book, Becoming instead to reconnect to inspiration and hope. We can't ignore the world around us at the moment, because then, how can we fight to change it? However, you do need time to disconnect from it frequently, so you can remember what is worth fighting for. The downtime will give you the strength to make all of your days count - not just for you, but for those you impact. And especially our children. We owe it to them. It's their world and we need to gift it to them in a better form. That's what keeps me doing the hard work each day to evolve and use my voice to bring about positive change that reflects more joy, connection and kindness. Our last day was spent with our friends Travis and Heather from Extra Pack of Peanuts and their two beautiful children. It's wonderful to have two special friends living so close! Caroline P.S. The Travel Summit I will be speaking at (virtually) on Oct 7th is now free!
