when the dark gets darker Today, I've been in and out of dentists to intend to a sudden and painful toothache. You know the saying, when it rains it pours. The past few days have probably been my darkest yet. Like a heavy blanket was placed upon me that took me out of "this really can't be real, and will get out of it soon," to "this really is real and there isn't anything we can do." That's a scary place to be in. Thankfully, my tooth today has snapped me out of it a little as I've had to spring into action. Nothing like a dull ache spreading through your mouth to bring you into the present. When you arrive there, you tend to see what's around you a little clearer. The bright sparks that really are there even when it seems completely hopeless. I had to turn to my own little ebook I wrote for my Money Mindfulness program on the Chaos of Change for some guidance. I'll pass it to you. The Chaos Theory is real and suggests: “If a system is dislodged from its stable state, it moves first into a period of oscillation, swinging back and forth between different states. If it moves from this oscillation, the next state is full chaos, a period of total unpredictability. But in the realm of chaos, where everything should fall apart, the strange attractor comes into play and a new kind of order emerges from the chaos.” If you step back from what appears to be chaos and take a higher or wider view of a situation, you see beauty and order that was hard to detect when you were close up. Change invites this high and wide perspective. As hard as it is, learn to stay open and awake in the middle of change because incredible new doors are opening for you. Now go and listen to Jason Mraz's song, 3 Little Things. IT share the three things he does when his life falls apart. - Release the old - Gratitude and Love - Allow the new Now who really isn't excited for the new right now? Caroline P.S. One thing I say when I've reached the end of my wits - after months of rolling punches - "Okay so that is enough. This is my life. My rules. I'm not tolerating another thing." Whether it listens or not doesn't' matter. It brings me back to my center of personal empowerment, which is where you can help bring about positive change.  PODCAST EPISODES For our next episodes, we dive into the reality of RV travel AND Kalyra and Savannah join us to share their different perspectives. - [Current Crisis Coping and Thoughts on Future Travel]( - [Tales from Uganda - a thrilling African destination]( This podcast is about the REAL side of travel.
