the energy to remain in I have some sound advice to pass to you from a mentor helping me through the fear surrounding the current challenge we are all faced with. I've been holding up pretty well, until yesterday. My mind went down that path of what ifs. Too many scenarios of doom and gloom in my future. Thankfully, I'm pretty good at snapping myself out of mind crazy, and this morning, I decided to just go to the expert who would know the better answer than me. Just tell me straight - "if this worst case scenario happens, what are we facing here?" His answer. "You'll be fine. It won't affect you in this way." And the sun came out again. Well sort of. The clouds continue to come and go depending on what world my mind slips into. But boy did I waste an entire day all churned up over imagination. Then, later, my mentor said, "It's important we stay in the energy of what is, rather than what ifs. We're being asked to focus in on love and gratitude" Isn't that a great way of looking at things? Nobody knows what the future lies for any of us. so all we can do right now is focus on what we have right here in this mindful moment. Craig and I filmed a video this week on how to stay calm in turbulent times. We also include tips on being at home 24/7 with your loved ones, working from home and homeschooling. [In the video](we talk about the importance of actively seeking out joy, and how easy it is to find in the simplest things. We're all being called (or forced) to return to simplicity and slowness. We're amazed to discover what we thought was a quiet neighborhood actually filled with a lot of vibrant people. We live on the corner block and always have our window blinds up and open so we can bring in the light. All day, we're seeing people are out walking, gardening, jogging, playing volleyball and tennis - all keeping their social distance, yet waving cheery hellos.  It's so lovely to see and reminds me of my own childhood - when our moments were spent outdoors, barefoot, connecting with each other. May this lead us back to this and the power of what is now. If you need help tuning into the what is, reply to me and tell me one thing you are grateful for today. Caroline P.S. We are still producing travel content so you may continue to dream and plan. Without hope and dreams, we have nothing. I'll share with you our new content tomorrow. I wanted you to focus just on our video today as it's super useful. and calming for you when you run down that path of What ifs. --------------------------------------------------------------- LATEST VIDEO --------------------------------------------------------------- How to remain calm in turbulent times Simple strategies to feel joy now.
