This is Afghanistan war veteran Sam Brown — When a roadside bomb detonated under the fuel tank of my vehicle while serving in Afghanistan, I thought my time on this earth was over. But God was watching over me and my fellow soldiers that day, as the flames on my body were extinguished. It wasnât a twist of fate. It wasnât a stroke of luck. I know with every fiber of my being that I am only standing here today because of Godâs grace. [And itâs because of Godâs grace that, today, Iâm running for U.S. Senate.]( Friend, God has saved me in more ways than one — and I wonât take the new life heâs given me for granted. Since that day, Iâve met the woman of my dreams. Iâve had 3 beautiful children. I started a business working to get veterans the critical medications they need. And my dedication to making this country better for my family and every American has never been stronger. Though Iâm new to the ugly game of politics, Iâve never feared stepping into the political arena — no matter how many millions of dollars Chuck Schumer commits to destroy me & my campaign.
