[Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America]( Fellow Americans, We still have several months before the 2024 election, but the battle lines have been clearly drawn and now we have a critical task to do. The stakes for the lives of the unborn couldn’t be any higher. The truth is that the best way for me and you to serve women and save babies is for all pro-life supporters to throw our entire weight behind pro-life candidates. Seriously. And protecting the innocent lives of the unborn doesn’t start and end with who occupies the White House in January of next year. At the end of the day, if Congress isn’t full of pro-life lawmakers, then there won’t be any legislation to sign into law that will protect women from the dangers of abortion or the innocent lives of millions of babies who will be slaughtered through this deadly industry in the years and decades to come. It sounds cliché to say that this election is the most important one of our lives, but it absolutely is true. The overturning of Roe v. Wade was an important step in protecting the innocent lives murdered by Big Abortion, but it was just the first step in the process. Let’s be honest… the pro-life movement has lost key battles at the state level to radicals who want abortion to be legal up until the moment of birth. The pendulum must swing back the other way. The Supreme Court decided to return the decision to the states, but Congress still has the power to write laws that federally mandate strict controls over what kind of laws they can write on this subject. What does that mean exactly? It means that a minimum of a federal 15-week pain-capable limit is still possible. The best part? About 70% of Americans say that they would support it. We just need to fill Congress with enough pro-life lawmakers to be bold enough to push for it. That’s why I’m writing to you today. The truth is that there are a lot of pro-life organizations that do fine work in the movement today, but there isn’t anyone better positioned than SBA to get this job done. We are the only pro-life organization that has the infrastructure to actually make a difference in elections this November. On top of that, we have a laser-focused and targeted strategy to get the job done. How? We have been working tirelessly for more than a year now to: - Identify strong pro-life champions who will win elections in vulnerable House and Senate seats this Fall by running on platforms to protect the unborn. - Actively coach and equip those candidates with strong talking points and defensible positions that will persuade voters to vote for them because of the pro-life positions they take. - Help them to develop strong policy prescriptions that have compassion for women and a desire to offer care options instead of leaving vulnerable mothers to succumb to the abortion industry’s lies (which would have them kill their unborn child instead). - Help them to advocate for stronger protections for pregnancy centers against the onslaught of leftist attacks from Planned Parenthood radicals and fanatics. - Provide them with world-class scientific research that proves the dangers of poisonous abortion drugs to mothers and their children, and the truth about the existence of human life present in the mother’s womb from the moment of conception. We are all-in on this year's election — AND — on protecting the lives of the unborn against the radical left’s culture of death once and for all!
