Xano Transform, New Database Experience, & Starter Guides  ‌ ‌ ‌    Happy New Year everyone! We ended the year strong in December with some major feature releases, including a 3-day holiday special where we announced a new feature each day. Pieced together, the 3-day holiday special rolls up to [Xano Transform](, a new and powerful syntax to supercharge the speed of development in Xano. We also tackled our [most requested feature]( from the Community and brought you an incredible new spreadsheet experience. Keep reading below to see the latest from the past month! --------------------------------------------------------------- 🌟 Highlights 🌟 💫 Xano Transform Xano Transform supercharges API and business logic development. It leverages an easy-to-use syntax to write powerful expressions that can handle arrays, objects, conditionals, and transformations. [Xano Transform]( 🚀 New Spreadsheet Experience We overhauled the spreadsheet viewer to give you a much-enhanced database experience. Infinite scroll, just like a Google Sheet or Excel document now lets you see all your records at once. Additionally, the UI was cleaned up and made faster than ever. [New Spreadsheet with infinite scroll]( 📡 Database View Sharing You can now [share a database view]( with team members or people outside your organization. Create an exclusive view and choose who to send the view to. You can easily edit and revoke access to the view and lock it down with security features like passwords or 2FA. 🦾 Function Mega-Menu A brand new menu is here for choosing functions! The mega menu gives you a cleaner view of everything and includes a customizable favorites list so you can have your most-used functions ready to select immediately. [Mega Menu]( 🎉 Database Column Renaming + References Renaming database columns received a big boost: now you can rename a column and the data is preserved. This was long overdue! On top of that, we were able to address our [most requested community feature](: update references to renamed columns automatically. If you rename a column, a panel will populate detecting references in any database request functions to the column. With a single click, you can update all the references. [Automatically Update References]( --------------------------------------------------------------- 🏗️ Other Notable Product Enhancements - CORS Management - We've enabled granular control for CORS management for API groups to give you even more flexibility. Check it out [here](. - Inline Filters For Variable Output Names - Filters are now enabled on the variable output name for functions so you can transform variable names on the fly. - Javascript & Python Friendly Filter Search - When searching through filters, you can use JS or Python equivalent names to identify the functionality you're looking for. - New Lambda Libraries - We added [Fast XML Parse]( and [AWS4: Sign Request Signatures]( to Lambdas. --------------------------------------------------------------- 🔐 Xano Trust Center We're proud to introduce the Xano Trust Center ([security.xano.com]().
