This was a huge testament to the support and trust of our amazing community. We're excited that our Series A funding will enable us to continue to bring you many improvements to Xano and provide all of you with the best backend on the market. Xano Transform leverages an easy-to-use syntax to write powerful expressions that can handle arrays, objects, conditionals, and advanced logic. It bolsters the speed of development and can reduce multiple functions into a short syntax. [Xano Transform]( 🔃 Branch Merging Branch merging is essential to the Software Development Lifecycle. Released at the beginning of 2023, it allows you to merge changes and updates of your business logic and API from a source branch into a destination branch. [Branching & Merging]( 🦾 Function Stack v2.0 It feels like forever ago but at the start of the year, we revamped the Function Stack, greatly improving the UI, adding bulk actions, [editing & publishing]( drafts, [real-time collaboration](, partial refactoring of functions, a condensed view, and more! [Function Stack v2]( 📈 Performance Enhancements We boosted all our paid plans with a 40% performance increase by moving to more powerful machines. Additionally, background tasks enjoyed a 2X performance boost. ⚡ Spreadsheet Experience Our database spreadsheet received a bevy of improvements over the year. We introduced [database views]( and rebuilt the spreadsheet viewer from the ground up to make it more performant, with a cleaner UI, and infinite scroll instead of pages. [Infinite Scroll] 🌐 Metadata API Our [Metadata API]( was launched this year enabling you to interact with your workspace programmatically and partners to build powerful integrations with your Xano backend. [Metadata API]( --------------------------------------------------------------- 🔥 New Functions Cloud Storage Functions We introduced [Cloud Storage functions]( natively into the Xano function stack so you could leverage Cloud storage providers like Google Cloud or Amazon S3. Try/Catch The [Try/Catch]( function was released this year enabling you to catch and handle errors in the function stack like never before. Post Process [Post Process]( allows you to execute additional logic after the API has returned a response. --------------------------------------------------------------- 🫶 Community New Community Platform We migrated to a brand new Community platform in November and have received overwhelming feedback about how improved the interface and overall experience are. We attended various conferences and held meetups in five cities across the US and France. --------------------------------------------------------------- 🔐 Security & Compliance Trust Center We launched our Trust Center ([security.xano.com]() providing you with a one-stop shop for all information regarding security and compliance at Xano. SOC 2 Type 2 Compliance Security and compliance have always been a focal point here at Xano. We proudly obtained our [SOC2 Type 2]( Compliance in 2023.
