Here's what happened this month. [Wyze]( Hey friends, Many marvelous milestones in the World of Wyze this month. Let’s dive right in! We got new rules, we count ‘em! [Wyze Leak Sensor senses a problem.] Big news! After months and months of tireless work with no R&R, and only occasional breaks for D&D, the superhero geniuses in our R&D department released our long-awaited newer, better, faster, more robust rules engine. Rules, for the uninitiated, are the little relationships you set up between your devices, like using motion detection on your Wyze Cam to trigger Wyze Bulbs and Wyze Plugs so that the lights come up and heroic music begins to play whenever you enter a room. Or is that just us? In any case, the new update means MUCH faster response times between devices and adds new rules, including the very exciting location trigger—meaning you can activate a device based on your location. Set your Wyze Robot Vacuum to run up and greet you at the door when you arrive home! Who needs a dog? You also finally have the ability to trigger color changes in your Wyze Bulb Color, trigger devices when it’s sunrise or sunset, activate your Wyze Cam v3 siren for any alarm that strikes your fancy, and so much more! (HMS scheduling coming soon!) [Set Up Wyze Rules]( New ways to throw away the key [Cam Plus is Turning One!](wyze.com/wyze-doorbell.html?lid=kwelpw7ydfbh) First off, [Wyze Doorbell is back in stock](. Huzzah! Second, this month also saw exciting new Wyze Lock development. It now works with Google Home, providing another way to unlock your door without pausing Netflix. Get started by going to Wyze Lock settings -> Third Party Integration > Reset PIN > Create PIN Want another little gem? In a match made in heaven, your Wyze Doorbell and Wyze Lock join forces with a handy “unlock” button on your doorbell screen starting in the next app release (2.24). Now when you tell people through the two-way audio to get lost, you can follow it up immediately with the sound of the deadbolt sliding home. [Get Wyze Video Doorbell]( [Get Wyze Lock]( DI-Wyze of the Month [Fighting porch pirates with artificial intelligence (and flour)]( Ryder Calm Down is back! And he’s now our first DI-Wyze back-to-back repeat champion! No longer restrained by [last month’s crippling ethical angst](, this month finds him [using Wyze tech to gleefully punish pretend porch pirates](.  Last month Ryder worked to keep people off his lawn. This month he’s trying to keep people off his porch. Things are clearly moving in the wrong direction. If this was a zombie movie, he’d be dead. We look forward to his next video using Wyze tech to keep people out of his fridge. [Check Out Ryder's Video]( “He who is not courageous enough to attempt risks…” [Crib scene]( Sadly there was no “Squirrel Versus Physics” video this month. However, in an expansion of that category we hereby dub, “The Wyze Olympics,” we present [the son of a user on Facebook, who executes a picture-perfect crib-escape-by-flip](—one of the toughest aerial stunts at the games. He sticks the landing, is momentarily stunned by his own awesomeness, then rolls over and carries on like a boss. Gold medal and a perfect ten from the judges. Mirror, mirror, on the floor! [Very important Public Service Announcement]( over on Reddit from BreakfastBeerz: “Never get out of the shower, hop on your Wyze scale, snap a pic of your impressive weight loss accomplishment, and share it to social media. The scale is more reflective than you may realize. Don't ask me how I know.” This seemed important enough to pass on. Wyze scale is designed to share progress with your friends, but not from that angle. We polish those babies to a spit shine, folks! A spit shine. Employee Spotlight [Meet Sissi]( We have [over 60 job openings]( at Wyze right now. We’d love to have you apply and join the team! Check out this month’s spotlight of Kim Jin, a Product Manager here at Wyze, famous for her work on Wyze Headphones! [Meet Kim]( That’s all folks! Be safe! Be well! We’ll see you all next month!
