Thank You and Happy New Year! Our dear friends, You and I both know this year sucked - for consumers

[Wyze]( Thank You and Happy New Year! Our dear friends, You and I both know this year sucked - for consumers and business. And Wyze was no exception. Like many others, our office transitioned from in-person to remote overnight. Our manufacturing partners had to shut down to readjust. Our shipping partners were overwhelmed by increased demand. Our normal was turned upside down. Through it all, Wyze has been driven by our founding principle: be friends with our customers. With you in mind, we were able to break personal records and design new ways to support your needs: - We started the Wyze In Response program - We launched a record of 10 new products - We deployed 9 major releases to the Wyze app - We created a home security solution with new hardware When COVID-19 first hit, we saw a need to pause and focus on what our friends in the community needed most. We were inspired by the acts of goodwill from companies around the nation and knew we had something to contribute with our supplier network and rapid software development. That’s when we created a program called [Wyze In Response](. Using the resources uniquely available to us, we: - Donated over 800 Wyze Cams for small businesses to monitor their offices - Donated 2,000+ masks to the University of Washington’s COVID-19 Response team - Developed new firmware to convert your Wyze Cam into a webcam We had to shift priorities and adjust to a new normal, but we remained committed to serving you and delivering new products. We promised to deliver products like Wyze Cam Outdoor and we wanted to keep our word. So through months of long days and late-night video calls, our team worked hard to develop several new smart products. We reached a company record when we launched 10 new products in 2020 by giving you: - The capability of automating your outdoor electronics with [Wyze Plug Outdoor]( - Better ways to monitor your home with [Wyze Cam Outdoor](, [Wyze Video Doorbell](, and [Wyze Cam v3]( - Personal devices to suit your lifestyle with [Wyze Band](, [Wyze Scale](, [Wyze Headphones](, and [Wyze Watch]( - The ability to improve the comfort in your home with [Wyze Thermostat]( and [Wyze Robot Vacuum]( On top of these product launches, we worked hard to improve Wyze Services and launched: - New features for [Cam Plus]( like the ability to fast forward through videos. We’re currently testing AI capabilities such as face recognition, vehicle detection, pet detection, and package detection - A 24/7 professional monitoring system with new hardware through [Wyze Home Monitoring]( to protect your home and give you peace of mind Despite all of the challenges of this year, you helped take us far beyond our 2017 goal of disrupting the smart home industry. We’ve jumped into health and wellness as well as home security. We dream of making great technology accessible to everyone and believe that there are many products and services that could work together to create an amazing life for our customers. We have great plans that we're working toward and we can't wait to tell you about them later when we're ready. On behalf of the entire Wyze team, thank you so much for your continued support and confidence in Wyze. We hope to always make you, our friends, proud.
