your Digital Frontier issue [Digital Frontier] Musk Grabs Crypto Cash for Twitter Bid [By Andrew Packer] By Andrew Packer Friday, May 6, 2022 Elon Musk continues to disclose how he’ll pay for his “highest and best” offer to take Twitter (NASDAQ: TWTR) private. The billionaire has reported that [19 partners]( will contribute nearly $7.1 billion in capital. It’s a smart move. It means that Twitter’s won’t be a one-man show run by Musk. And he won’t have to put up as much cash. One of the more interesting backers? Binance (PRIAVTE). Binance is the world’s largest crypto exchange by trading volume. The brokerage is making a $500 million Twitter investment. [Go here to discover the top 5 cryptos to BUY before May 15.]( As CEO Changpeng Zhao noted (on Twitter, naturally), it’s just “a small contribution to the cause.” But it’s also a key sign that cryptocurrencies are going mainstream. That’s a trend that we saw play out with this year’s Super Bowl, when four crypto exchanges ran ads. And last year, stadium naming rights were bought in Miami and Los Angeles. We now have the FTX Arena and the Crypto.com arena. These deals are huge, spanning hundreds of millions of dollars. But over time, the advertising will more than pay for itself. That’s likely what’s at play with the Binance investment into Musk’s Twitter purchase. Binance will have a better seat at the table than the other crypto companies out there. They may get preferred advertising on the platform. Time will tell. Meanwhile, despite the bear market in stocks, billions of dollars are still flowing into crypto. Since the start of the year, crypto projects saw a 13% increase in funding compared to the last quarter of 2021. That’s huge. Especially with the news that GDP shrank in the first quarter of the year. The fact of the matter is… crypto is here to stay. But there are hundreds of companies looking to capitalize on its development. The big brokers are a part of that story. But a bigger part will be cryptos themselves. As Bitcoin goes mainstream, so will smaller crypto projects that address real-world problems in the same manner that Bitcoin has addressed some of the shortcomings of our current monetary system. Now is the time to start building your portfolio of next generation cryptocurrencies. I like to call these Crypto Moonshots. And I’m prepared to show you exactly HOW to spot the next big crypto winner – before it takes off.
