Join the 5K for Nature today [Three people hiking]( Dear {NAME}, During the first week of June, nature lovers across the country will get outside for WWF's 5K for Nature. There are as many reasons for joining—and as many ways to participate—as there are people joining us, but we’re all united by a common goal: to help protect the wildlife and nature we love. [Sign up today to join the 5K for Nature and learn how you can have fun while raising money to protect WWF’s most important work.]( [Sign Up Today ►]( Here are just a couple reasons why our past participants have found the 5K for Nature so fun and rewarding: Sherri from New York used the 5K for Nature to stay active during the pandemic: [Samantha getting ready to do her 5K for nature] "I’ve been a big WWF supporter my whole life so it’s a great way to give back while having fun. I signed up during COVID to give me the motivation to actually leave my house and go on walks/runs. I think the idea of running the 5K on your own time is really great for inclusivity since anyone around the world can do it and feel a part of something." Sarah from California did last year’s 5K virtually with her coworkers and showed how you can make this event your own: [Samantha getting ready to do her 5K for nature] "It was also a fun way to do some virtual team bonding and the event was so flexible that we could each participate in a safe and convenient way. I did a 5K run along the Berkeley waterfront on a beautiful spring day. Other teammates did a hike in Yosemite National Park, walked at a Six Flags in southern CA, and did a lake run with a new baby in Austin, Texas." This year, we’ve got two great options! Pick the no-pressure 5K Anytime, Anywhere option and get outside anytime during the first week of June, or go for new the Live Virtual 5K, on June 4 to compete against others in real-time on the Charge Running app. Either way, you’ll feel terrific knowing that you’re helping WWF tackle some of the toughest challenges facing our planet.
