Good morning! It's been a little while since we've last found our way to your inbox. Recent weeks have seen some interesting change and restructuring as we plan out how best to serve our ever growing base of users. You all are great! We have news from three different angles this week: one new extension, 2 new updates to Ninja Forms core, and the beginning of a new series on our Ninja Forms blog. First: Recurly! It's our newest extension for Ninja Forms, and the first in a line of what we hope to be semi-weekly releases for the next stretch of the year. We'll talk more Recurly below, but look out in the coming weeks for a gaggle of new Ninja Forms goodness. The bulk of our 2.9 compatible extensions that we're sole proprietors of have been converted/upgraded into 3.0, leaving the majority of the rest waiting for our collaborating developers to finish up. We're in the later review stages with many of them, so they should be ready very soon! We have at least one novel extension in the pipeline too. Finally, Save User Progress has been an upgrade that many of you have expressed impatience with. We understand completely- we're taking forever with it. That's not without good reason though, as the new Save User Progress is not just a conversion to 3.0 compatibility, but a feature rich improvement over its old self. It might as well be a novel extension release, too. Soon! Let's tun now to Recurly & the rest of this week's Ninja news! Introducing Recurly: Your Newest Ninja Forms Expansion --------------------------------------------------------------- Recurly is the newest in this year's line of super cool Ninja Forms extensions. We plan on making it available this coming Friday, March 3rd. You'll find it then on our [Ninja Forms Extensions]( page . The Recurly extension actually started out as a feature request from a major hosting provider who uses Ninja Forms to sign up folks for their range of hosting options. They took a gander at numbers not too long ago and realized that many of their users were WordPress people. Enough so apparently that they decided it was time to enter into the world of managed WordPress hosting. Looking for a good way to manage differentiated subscriptions, they landed on Recurly. They then turned to us to see if we could make an integration happen. The product of this partnership: Recurly for Ninja Forms! What the heck is Recurly? It's a service that manages subscriptions and works with virtually any payment gateway. If you operate any subscription based service through your WordPress website, Recurly can become an indispensable tool for managing your people, plans, payments, even your taxes. You can read more about them over on [recurly.com](, but here's a quick feature overview: - Multiple billing models: one-time charge, recurring, seat-based, usage-based, etc - Multiple payment models: credit cards, ACH, Paypal, invoices, and more - More than a dozen accepted payment gateways including Stripe and Paypal - Hosted payment pages - Sales tax support for US and EU VAT plus advanced sales tax support - Plan managment that supports a range of plans, features, and the ability to upgrade/downgrade plans easily - Customer lifecycle management - Advanced analytics - Fraud management - so much more... just check them out! What's New with Ninja Forms --------------------------------------------------------------- We've pushed 2 new updates to NInja Forms core since the last newsletter. That brings our most current version up to v3.0.29. Here's what those changes involve as listed in our [repository changelog](: - (3.0.28) Fixed a JS notice caused by the use of jQuery.attr() instead of jQuery.prop(). - (3.0.28) Modified the approach to form publishing to improve performance for larger forms and prevent bugs when saving. - (3.0.28) Google reCaptcha should now work properly when a field has an error. - (3.0.29) Fixed a bug that could cause previewed forms from submitting properly. Last newsletter we highlighted some planned changes in the way we handle commerce options. Just to keep you in the loop there I went and harassed our dev KR, the man in charge of those changes. He says they're 2/3 of the way done but threatened me with horrible things if I ballparked a release date. So we'll say near-future-ish in the interest of preserving life and limb.
