The Goodness Of God's Nature When my sister lost her baby over four years ago, it brought me to my knees. I hadn’t realized just how much room I had been giving fear in my heart. I found myself not only broken for the loss of my niece but also terrified of losing my children. The disillusionment and discouragement of that season was paralyzing. But as I walked with my sister, as I watched God restore her soul and experienced His healing touch on my own, I discovered again who He is. I still remember the phrase He repeated in my heart… "My nature is good." Do you need to hear that today? Are you struggling to believe it? Maybe you’ve experienced the loss of a loved one this past year. Perhaps your career has suffered, your goals have hit some delays, a relationship with someone you care about is struggling, the pregnancy you’ve been praying for hasn’t happened yet. In the middle of your sorrow, I believe God wants to tell you today, "My nature is good." One of the songs on the album that I’m so expectant for is called Your Nature. It’s all about reminding ourselves of God’s goodness, who He is, the miracles He does, and singing and declaring that truth in the face of our fear and disappointment. I pray these lyrics will encourage you… You bring life to the broken places Light to the darkest spaces God, it’s Your nature You bring joy to the brokenhearted Hope to the ones who’ve lost it God, it’s Your nature - From Your Nature Scriptures "I have chosen you and have not cast you away: fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand."
