But World Animal Protection is trying to change this—and we need you. Baloo’s life is one of misery. From the time he was a small cub, he’s been treated like an object, not the feeling and curious bear that he is. For “food” he’s infrequently tossed cornflakes and lemonade. Children poke at him with sticks in between his bars. Sometimes, people even give him alcohol. That’s why we are urging the Romanian government to release Baloo immediately and turn him over to us, where we can relocate him to our Libearty Bear Sanctuary.
