It's the last day of our Winter Pledge Drive. Your donation now will help reach the goal. [View this email in a browser]( [Donate]( Dear Listener, It’s been a big week of news—and it’s only Thursday. On Monday, the Supreme Court ruled that Colorado could not bar former President Trump from the ballot. Tuesday was Super Tuesday. Yesterday Nikki Haley suspended her campaign for President. And tonight, President Biden delivers his annual State of the Union Address, which WNYC will bring to you live with special coverage from NPR starting at 9pm. And as if that isn’t enough, today is also the final day of our Winter Pledge Drive. If you depend on WNYC for honest news reported in good faith, [we need your donation today](. We have just under $200,000 left to raise before the drive ends this evening, and [full]( [participation from everyone who depends on WNYC right now will get us to our goal](. [DONATE NOW]( Public media like WNYC and NPR are alternatives to profit-driven corporate media. Unlike corporate media, we don’t answer to advertisers. We also don’t air political ads or take money from candidates for office. When you turn on WNYC, you know that you are getting unbiased, independent reporting that you can trust and count on. [The funding model that makes it possible for WNYC to be here for you is based on a direct understanding with you: you depend on us, and we depend on you to support us](. WNYC is here for everybody, and today, as we close out our Pledge Drive, [we ask you to be here for us](.
