The state Legislature’s Democratic majorities introduced a bill late Monday that lays out proposed boundaries for New York’s 26 congressional districts, [a day after rejecting a compromise proposal]( by a bipartisan commission. The Democrats’ proposal — which the Legislature had not yet made available in map form as of Tuesday morning — would make few tweaks to New York City’s congressional districts, leaving alone Republican Rep. Nicole Malliotakis’ Staten Island and Brooklyn seat that’s long been a target for Democrats.
