George Santos on Friday in a historic move that makes him the first member to be removed from the body without a criminal conviction and only the sixth member ever to be ousted from Congress. Following a 311-144 vote, Santos was expelled after more than two-thirds of the members voted in favor of a resolution to oust the first-term Republican, who represents parts of Queens and Long Island.
