It's Wednesday morning in New York City, where Citi Bike riders are apparently dealing with more unusable stations and broken bikes than ever before. A new report from Comptroller Brad Lander found that Citi Bike has become less reliable — especially in low-income neighborhoods and communities of color — since Lyft took over operations in 2018. Lander is now calling for [a revised contract with Lyft]( that would include performance requirements on a neighborhood level to ensure high-quality service across the city.
