[NYC Election Day 2023: No sleep 'til polls close in Brooklyn]( [first image]( [Today's newsletter curated by James Ramsay]( Weather: âï¸ Cloudy, with showers possible and highs in the upper 60s. It's Tuesday in New York City, where the polls are open until 9 p.m. Across the five boroughs, voters today will elect all 51 City Council members, along with district attorneys in the Bronx, Queens and Staten Island and roughly two dozen judicial elections. Voters will also be asked to weigh in on two statewide ballot questions. And if you ever wonder if your vote matters, this is shaping up to be one of those (very) low-turnout elections where your vote could make all the difference. [Here's everything you need to know before you cast your ballot.]( [Over in New Jersey]( the entire State Legislature is up for election today — making this, in many ways, a midterm test of Gov.
