Here’s what else is going on: - Leaders of top NY businesses including JPMorgan Chase, Goldman Sachs and Citi [wrote a letter urging the Biden administration]( to provide more assistance to the city, arguing that migrants could help solve a labor shortage. - But those hopes for the federal government to help get migrants into the legal workforce were squashed in letters penned by Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas to both Gov. Kathy Hochul and Mayor Eric Adams.
