It’s Thursday morning in New York City where some neighborhoods are [standing out as eviction hotspots.]( Using data from city records, Gothamist found city marshals have carried out more than 10,000 evictions since the pandemic-spurred eviction moratorium ended in January 2022. That number may be high, but it still pales in comparison to pre-pandemic eviction rates, for now, as cases continue to climb and some communities feel the effect more than others.
