I canât stop watching the âGourmet Makesâ videos from Bon Appetit on YouTube. Claire Saffitz attempts to (and surprisingly succeeds at) recreating candy and junk food like Skittles, Cheetos, Gushers and instant ramen using her background as a pastry chef. I love the narrative arc of the videos â which usually follow a pattern of confidence, confusion, despair and, ultimately, triumph.
