Macie has already had to endure so much at such a young age. Fortunately, Make-A-Wish® stepped in to offer her hope when her spirits were low. Macie has always loved the color pink, playing with dolls and being outside. So when it came time to make her wish, she knew just what she wanted – her very own pink treehouse with unicorns. Every wish is a truly customized and unforgettable project for all involved, and Macie's wish was no different. From the flower boxes to the murals to the unicorn bookshelf that was built just for her, every volunteer and worker did their part to make the space majestic and special. Macie was greeted by friends, family, Make-A-Wish supporters, volunteers and donors cheering the whole way as they unveiled her new treehouse. When she is faced with uncertainty and trauma, she will be able to remember this special day filled with joy, and escape to her treehouse to help her make it through any challenge that comes her way.
