As we head into the new year, I’m so glad to have you by our side in this mission. [Make-A-Wish]( [Give Now]( As we begin the new year, I couldn’t be more grateful for this community. Supporters like you are the reason that more kids will experience the hope, joy and strength of a wish this year. You all are the reason that a 6-year-old facing cancer gets the chance to build sandcastles on the beach for the first time. You all are the reason that a 15-year-old with a nervous system disorder gets a puppy – a furry companion to help ease the stress of their condition. You all are the reason that a 3-year-old with kidney disease gets to have a backyard playset – a safe place to play and just be a kid again. No matter the wish, we know that these experiences change lives. They can even lead to better health outcomes and better odds of overcoming an illness. And in the most needed moments, they provide these kids with transformational joy and a piece of their childhood back. As the leader of our fundraising team, I get a detailed look at how each individual gift helps fund these wishes – from beach toys to dog leashes to a playset slide. We rely entirely on this community to bring wishes to life, and each and every dollar makes a difference. So if you didn’t get a chance to make a donation before our end-of-year deadline, I hope you’ll consider making one now – because there are still too many kids in need of a wish as we begin 2024. [Please, will you give now to help us grant more life-changing wishes in the year ahead?]( [Make a Gift]( We are so grateful to have you as part of this caring community. All of my best wishes to you and your loved ones in the new year.
