It’s so depressing seeing your child suffer, not being able to protect her because everything that’s happening to her is on the inside. We could see that Ana was not doing okay. She was getting depressed. She has always been a very active child, doing karate, ballet, soccer, running and playing with friends at school. And then, all of a sudden, she wasn’t even able to be in the sun. It’s been really hard for our family. But then, Make-A-Wish came into our lives, and Ana has something to look forward to again.
