More than 4,500 wish kids are waiting for their wishes to be granted this summer. The heartbreaking

More than 4,500 wish kids are waiting for their wishes to be granted this summer. [Make-A-Wish]( [Give Now]( [Make an Early Gift]( The heartbreaking reality is that many kids with critical illnesses are missing out on the excitement of the summertime – all too often forced to stay indoors and isolate from their siblings and friends. And more still have to spend these months enduring painful, exhausting treatments. Summer is not only a difficult time for kids facing critical illnesses, but it's also the time when we see support slow down the most at Make-A-Wish®, though it's our busiest wish-granting season. Our ability to grant wishes comes from your support. It’s this community that brings a child’s wish to life – and that means that we cannot do it without you. With two children added to the waiting wish list every day, the need couldn’t be more urgent. To make sure we can grant as many waiting wishes as possible, we set a goal for 450 caring supporters like you to make a gift before midnight tomorrow. We know you're committed to transforming wish kids' lives, so we want to reach out with this early opportunity to become one of our first Summer of Wishes donors: [Please, will you donate now to help us grant waiting wishes for kids facing critical illnesses this summer?]( [Make a Gift To Grant Waiting Wishes]( Your support powers wishes for kids like Jaime. When the moment came for his wish, he knew right away that he wanted to connect with the animals he loved at the zoo. The excitement and anticipation of his wish gave him the motivation to keep working on his physical therapy to build up his stamina for the big day. When his unforgettable wish day finally came, the zoo staff gave him a private tour – allowing him to get up close and personal with the animals and even feed the tortoises. The whole adventure had a profound impact on Jaime. He returned home and began making progress that his family hadn’t thought possible.
