A New Partner Joins the Wide Moat Team Dear Reader, In my letter to you last week, I told you we had

[Wide Moat Daily]( A New Partner Joins the Wide Moat Team Dear Reader, In my letter to you last week, I told you we had several exciting announcements coming soon for the future of Wide Moat Research. Today, I can finally share our first one… I couldn't be more thrilled to announce that Buck Sexton is joining us here at Wide Moat Research... You've probably heard Buck before. Every day, millions of folks listen in as Buck cohosts The Clay Travis and Buck Sexton Show. Broadcast on more than 400 stations across the country, Buck is carrying on the torch for the late, great Rush Limbaugh as the successor to The Rush Limbaugh Show. I had dinner with Buck a few weeks ago. And he shared with me two big events that changed his life... The first was the terrorist attacks of 9/11. Buck was born and raised in New York. Evil came for his city... and he vowed to join the fight. So, after graduating college, he joined the CIA. Within a few years, he found himself in the deserts of Iraq and the mountains of Afghanistan... His work for the government is still classified. But by the time he was 30, Buck had already run two Oval Office briefings for the President of the United States, earning a reputation as the young guy who was always right on the things that mattered. Buck's second life-changing event was the Great Recession of 2008. At the time, Buck was a financial novice. He told me that when the 2008 crash came, he hadn't even allocated the money in his 401(k) plan. Turns out that was a great move – Treasury securities were the best place to be as the financial world stood on the brink of ruin. That moment was when Buck started focusing on how politics and Washington D.C. affect all Americans' financial security... Much like us here at Wide Moat Research, he realized that the "experts" on Wall Street overwhelmingly looked like fools, and it was the average, everyday folks who were left holding the bag while Uncle Sam bailed out the banks. I know Buck will bring new ideas and insights you won’t find anywhere else. Starting next Monday, and every Monday going forward, expect to see Buck published with his own column – Message from Buck – in the pages of Wide Moat Daily. He'll touch on the interplay between politics, government, national security, and the financial markets... as well as detailed ways that you can protect yourself, and even profit, as we head into the election this fall. Looking down the road, we also plan to bring exclusive content with Buck and myself to paid members of Wide Moat Research. Be on the lookout for more details there in the weeks ahead. You'll receive your first Message from Buck next Monday, August 12. Please join me in welcoming Buck – [send us an email here](mailto:feedback@widemoatresearch.com).
