[When Democrats Turn Out] Hi {NAME}, We want to keep you updated about the candidates we're most excited to help elect as the 2022 cycle starts to ramp up. First up: John Fetterman is running for an open Senate seat in Pennsylvania. Fetterman is exactly the kind of candidate we want to help -- an unapologetic progressive in a purple state who supports organized labor, a $15 minimum wage, marijuana legalization, and LGBTQ rights. The New York Times has called him “one of Mr. Trump's most persistent and colorful critics.” He got his political start as mayor of the small town of Braddock, Pennsylvania, and he's committed to fighting for “marginalized, forgotten, overlooked and abandoned communities” like his own. We're thrilled to uplift candidates like Fetterman ahead of the 2022 elections -- and we hope you're thrilled too. This is what When Democrats Turn Out does -- rally grassroots support and cut checks to the candidates who will bring real change to their states and to Washington. However, we can't forget that Republicans are going to be laser-focused on this race. The GOP, angry about losing their Senate majority by a razor-thin margin, will be pouring all their money and resources into PA, a deeply divided state where red voters are reeling after the state flipped blue for Biden. That means there will be a flood of ad spots, mailers, and rallies claiming that this is the chance to take PA -- and the Senate -- back for Trump's party. If we could elect a true progressive like Fetterman to the Senate while also strengthening Democrats' slim majority in the upper chamber, we'd be ecstatic. But to do that, we need to start out strong and beat the GOP at their money game. That's why WDTO has set ambitious goals for February -- but we'll be honest with you, we're already coming up $2,054 short of this week's benchmark. [Will you join us in our fight to elect unabashedly progressive candidates like Fetterman and protect Democrats' 2020 gains? If you're as clear-eyed, hopeful, and energized as we are, we'd love it if you'd show us by making a donation now.]( If you've saved payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately: [DONATE $10]( [DONATE $25]( [DONATE $50]( [DONATE $100]( [DONATE $500]( [DONATE OTHER]( Thank you so much for being with us.
