Bill Barr is now leaving the White House after Trump mused about firing him -- and there?s rampant

[When Democrats Turn Out] Hi {NAME}, [Alt-text for screen readers: A tweet from @realDonaldTrump reads “Why didn't Bill Barr reveal the truth to the public, before the Election, about Hunter Biden. Joe was lying on the debate stage that nothing was wrong, or going on - Press confirmed. Big disadvantage for Republicans at the polls!”] Source: [Twitter]( Bill Barr is now leaving the White House after Trump mused about firing him -- and there’s rampant and credible speculation that Barr’s refusal to tamper with the election by feeding the president’s lies about voter fraud or his attacks on the Biden family is the reason for his departure. We’re glad to see Barr go, and we’ll be even happier to watch his boss do the same in January. However, there’s something about Barr’s departure that has us worried: his replacement. Trump is living in a fantasy land when it comes to the election results. But the fact is, he’s still president until January 20, 2021. And despite all the despicable things Barr did while in the AG’s office in the name of loyalty to Trump, he still couldn’t cut it. What will Barr’s replacement have to be willing to do in order to get the job? It’s a guarantee that Trump wants to reward a top donor, lackey, or loyalist with the Attorney General job -- and that whoever Trump chooses will fully buy into the president’s conspiracy theories on illegal ballots and Hunter Biden. Barr’s replacement could use the Justice Department to try to damage Joe Biden’s nascent presidency at Trump’s request; we’re sure that’s exactly what the 45th president wants from his top lawyer right now. We need to brace ourselves for whatever Barr’s replacement does next. For that, we’d like your help. [A wild animal is never more dangerous than when it’s cornered -- and that’s exactly the position Trump is in now. He could appoint an AG even more corrupt and even more loyal than Barr (who once gassed protesters on behalf of the president and still failed Trump’s loyalty test). We want to be able to fight back against whatever attack on Joe Biden or on the election that Barr’s successor chooses to launch, but our funds are low -- could you pitch in whatever you can afford to get us ahead of Trump’s Justice Department and help us secure Joe Biden’s first 100 days?]( If you've saved payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately: [DONATE $10]( [DONATE $25]( [DONATE $50]( [DONATE $100]( [DONATE $500]( [DONATE OTHER]( Before Joe Biden’s first 100 days, we need to get through Trump’s last 30-- and they could be the most destructive yet.
