[When Democrats Turn Out] {NAME}, Millions of American workers are suffering due to the economic devastation caused by the COVID-19 crisis. Unfortunately, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell doesn’t seem to be in a big rush to help them. McConnell believes he can get a new pandemic aid bill together in the next three weeks -- even though this will mean millions will see their $600 boost in unemployment aid lapse when they expire on July 31st. This is unfathomable -- but not surprising from McConnell. He didn’t even believe in giving people extra aid to begin with. Democrats have pushed for more aid -- Chuck Schumer just announced a plan to give $350 billion in aid to communities of color hit hard by the crisis and House Democrats passed a $3 trillion bill back in May -- but those efforts have been rebuffed by McConnell and the GOP-controlled Senate and President Trump. It’s clear we need Democratic leadership back in the Senate and White House to accelerate the recovery process. Will you join us to vote BLUE in November?
