[When Democrats Turn Out] Hello {NAME}, Missouri, Georgia, Virginia, Tennessee -- just a handful of the states that have led the charge on attacking safe and affordable reproductive healthcare. Trump made it very clear early on in his 2016 campaign that he was going to lead a very anti-choice administration, ushering in a 3-year onslaught of state laws limiting access to abortion, cutting funds to Planned Parenthood, and elevating medically inaccurate and dangerous anti-choice opinions. Trump even gave two anti-choice men lifetime seats on the Supreme Court so they can uphold these laws -- and they may soon decide the fate of Roe v. Wade and abortion as a whole. Despite this onslaught, public opinion has remained steady in support of abortion -- according to a recent study, 54 percent support it being legal in most or all cases, holding nearly the same since 2014. Beyond abortion, 77 percent believe Medicaid and other government programs should cover birth control, despite the Trump administration’s continuous efforts to defund these programs. This same study found that support for abortion amongst Democrats has only grown since 2014, rising from 67 percent to 70 percent. We’re interested in seeing what you think: Are you pro-choice?
