Dear {NAME}, It is with tremendous sadness that I report that the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) lost three staff members due to violence in parts of Sudan on Saturday. While we review the evolving security situation, we are forced to temporarily halt all operations in Sudan. Threats to our teams make it impossible to operate safely and effectively in the country.
