WestJet Update: What you can expect on your next journey. {NAME} Teal {NAME}, here's how we're putting your Safety Above All. We know that for many, air travel is an essential part of your life, whether to visit loved ones, spend time away with family and friends, or to connect with colleagues and clients. We are so proud to have been part of your journey in the past, and as the head of safety at WestJet, I wanted to share some of the measures we've enacted to keep you safe on your next journey with us. We are eager to welcome you back onboard, and your experience with us will look a little different. Below, we’ve highlighted just some of the ways we’ve changed our procedures so you can have peace of mind knowing that we’re putting your safety above all, just like we always have. [Attendant cleaning air plane] Cleaning and sanitizing: We’ve increased our cleaning and sanitizing protocols across our fleet. High-touch areas are frequently cleaned and disinfected with four different hospital-grade products and we’ve introduced a new procedure called fogging. [Passenger having their temperature checked with a digital thermometer] Boarding: When you’re ready to board your flight, we’ll take your temperature with a contactless thermometer and ask you a few health-related questions. [Flight attendant waving] On board: We’re limiting bookings so we can provide you with the space you need and we’ve also adjusted food and beverage service on board to limit touchpoints and contact. And while our WestJetters across your journey will be wearing personal protective equipment, we’ll still be smiling and greeting you like before. Download the WestJet app. The WestJet app will help you limit touchpoints and maintain physical distancing when you arrive at the airport. We suggest you download it if you have an upcoming trip. As this situation evolves know that our response and our procedures will as well. For detailed end to end journey information, please visit [westjet.com/safety](.
