[The Western Journal]( HTML   Dear Friends, As you read this email, countless Nigerian families are living in fear for their lives, persecuted for their Christian faith. Brutal terrorist attacks targeting Christian communities in Nigeria are increasing by the day, leaving many dead and thousands displaced. Over the past month, our team in Nigeria has been confronting a growing crisis of unprecedented severity. An increase in attacks against Christians in Plateau State has led to the tragic loss of over 1000 lives and the displacement of 12,000 individuals from their homes. Our team's relentless dedication fills me with confidence that Equipping the Persecuted will continue to serve those most in need, no matter the challenges we face.   Widow & Orphan Ministry: Need: $13,500 / Month The aftermath of these attacks has led to an increase in the number of orphans and widows, with 326 new widows and 92 orphans recorded. We are proud to report that we've been able to add over 40 new widows to our monthly support, bringing our total to 172. Our Fountain Of Hope Children's Home currently shelters 24 wonderful children!   We aim to increase our monthly budget for widow support from $2,500 to $8,500, which amounts to approximately $50 per month per widow. Similarly, we would like to bring our monthly support for the orphanage up to $5,000. To make this a reality, we need your help. Would you consider monthly support for an orphan or widow?   [Give to Widows & Orphans](   Benue Camp Update: Need: $120,000 Despite the costs and hurdles we've faced, we are proud to partner with Ignition 633 to finally construct permanent structures for 5000 persecuted Christians, who previously had to live in makeshift tents. We still need $120,000 to complete this project. Every single dollar counts. [Support the Benue Christians](   Village Security: Need: $1.2 Million Also due to the recent attacks, I have been communicating with several village community leaders. Their biggest request is for help with security training and awareness. The budget for this effort is going to cost us $1.2 million over the course of one year. This will allow us to legally and effectively save lives and empower those on the front lines facing these attacks. In the grand scheme of things, this is a small price to pay to even save one life. But I know that this will save thousands of lives. [Give to Village Security Teams](   [TruthNigeria.com](: Need: $4,000 / Month With the escalating violence, we've taken the initiative to amplify the voice of Christians in Nigeria. We have collaborated with local and U.S. journalists to launch [TruthNigeria.com](, a platform dedicated to shedding light on the crisis. We have already issued three terror alerts and have documented evidence that our efforts are making a difference. Running this campaign comes with a cost, and requires $4,000 per month to keep it operational. If you're able, consider support to help us maintain this crucial platform. But we cannot do this alone. We need your help! Together, we will continue to be a beacon of hope for those who need it most.
