0 extra work = more traffic + conversions. WHERE HAS THIS BEEN ALL OF MY LIFE?! Getting traffic on your registration page can feel like a daunting task.  After putting in the energy to create a [webinar]( that you’re reaaally proud of, you then have to think of the EXACT right strategies to get people to STOP WHAT THEY’RE DOING and go REGISTER for it!  That pressure can feel as heavy as a boulder falling on your big toe.  …But one night, I slept in a smoldering hot, humid, mosquito-infested safari tent at the peak of summer because of ONE unique marketing strategy.  And today, I’m gonna share that strategy with you (along with 2 others) so you can use them to dramatically increase the traffic to your registration page–WITHOUT breaking a sweat.  Before I get into it, here’s what you’re gonna learn in this email…  > How to capitalize off of the lowest hanging marketing fruit you’ve got, so you can attract as many free leads to your webinar as possible!  > How to deploy a marketing strategy that compels people to act IMMEDIATELY…so your audience doesn’t think to themselves ohhh, I’ll register for that later (LIES!)  > How to artfully craft a quick webinar promo so that you gain the maximum amount of traction from the shortest post possible  As long as you’ve got a keyboard, YOU can implement these strategies.  So let’s get into them…  –  1- Focus on scarcity, urgency, and the use of dates.  Remember how I mentioned that I once slept in a smoldering hot, humid, mosquito-infested safari tent at the peak of summer?  Well, I did that because of scarcity.  Long story short, my wife wanted to go “glamping” so badly that she brought it up almost daily for about a month.  I didn’t want to squash her hopes and dreams, so I secretly started to browse around for glamping campsites.  I had no commitment to book a tent…because I wasn’t even into the idea in the first place.  (If you don’t know what “glamping” is, it stands for “glamorous camping.” The thought of it alone caused my chest hair to start balding.)  But as soon as I came across a glamping website that I thought my wife might like, I saw big red letters on the screen that made me panic.  They said “Booked 6 times in the last hour. Only 1 yurt left.”  I booked immediately, thanks to scarcity.  The glamping experience would have been totally worth it if the air conditioning hadn’t broken and turned our yurt into a sweat lodge.  That sucked for me.  But lucky for you, you can steal this glamping company’s scarcity tactic and use it to get people to REGISTER NOW.  Here’s what to say to create scarcity + urgency (at ALL points of your marketing campaign):  - Urgent, never before revealed information. - Special guest X will be answering your questions LIVE! - Only a certain number of people are allowed on. - This is an EVENT. It’s never gonna happen this way again, because we’re gonna be LIVE. - Live, join me tonight.  If there's no urgency, there’ll be no rush to do anything – so when you do this right, it will increase [webinar]( conversions significantly.  But make sure you are HONEST when you use this tactic. You can break trust with your audience + flat out annoy them if you use FALSE urgency. So don’t do that!  One last thing!  If you’re into data, you’ll like this-  When a marketing agency (the CXL Experimentation Agency) ran a test to see how much their sales would differ on a $69 dollar product using 1 campaign WITH urgency + 1 WITHOUT…  The campaign that used urgency made 332% more sales!  …So deploying it is a no-brainer.  2- Send email invitations  Did you know that every $1 spent on email marketing yields a $45 ROI?  According to Copyhackers, that’s why email marketing is STILL one of the most inexpensive yet powerful ways to market.  So you DEFINITELY don’t want to miss out on doing this.  When you send your subscribers an invitation to your webinar, make sure you treat it like an exclusive event…  You can automatically make it sound more exclusive by calling it “a training,” “hangout,” “jam session” etc.  Oh, and don’t forget…  If you’ve got a Facebook group or LinkedIn group, you can email your members and invite them to the “hangout” too, since you’ve already done the work to acquire those leads.  Might as well invite everyone to the party!  3- Say as little as possible, but pack those words with benefits.  No matter how you send people to your registration page, remember to keep your copy brief.  You could post on social media, email your list, post in one of your groups, send messages, run ads, etc.  Whatever strategies you implement, though- Just remember that the longer your sales copy is, the more your audience has a chance to disqualify themselves.  So rather than talking about how amazing your webinar is gonna be, just sell the “click” to the registration page by coming up with 3-5 outcome-driven bullet points.  The bullet points should get right down to the benefit and spell out exactly what’s in it for your registrant…  Explain how it’ll help them move AWAY from pain and TOWARDS pleasure.  If you wanna see some examples…open up the email I sent yesterday, where I shared simple copy hacks for bullet points.  –  Now that you’ve learned simple ways to get a TON more traffic to your registration page–without needing a massive following...  The next thing we’re gonna cover is how to get people to SHOW UP to your webinar excited and ready to have their MINDS BLOWN.  Using the right strategies, your webinar can genuinely be an event that people count down the minutes to all day long!  All it takes is the right marketing. :-)  I’ll share the strategies that we used to have a 60.1% show up rate on our most recent [webinar]( tomorrow! Stay tuned for that.  -AJ Roberts You're receiving this newsletter because this email address was submitted to an opt-in form on one of our websites. Flesch reading score measures how complex a text is. The lower the score, the more difficult the text is to read. The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables. Usually, a reading ease score of 60-70 is considered acceptable/normal for web copy.
