There are some massive limitations to using Facebook Live. Hey {NAME}, I see this question ?

There are some massive limitations to using Facebook Live. Hey {NAME}, I see this question — a LOT. “Can’t I just use a recorded video on YouTube or stream to Facebook Live or something instead of doing all this work and paying for your software?” And I understand where people are coming from. Facebook Live is free, and lots of people are on Facebook. But Facebook Live is a webcast, not a webinar, and there are some massive limitations. Limitations you will not have when you [sign up for WebinarJam](. It’s Distracting: Have you ever clicked off a YouTube video to one of those previews on the right sidebar? Or how about viewing a video on Facebook… only to find yourself scrolling a little further and “liking” a few dozen unrelated pictures? That’s the problem with streaming or hosting your videos on social media. The platforms are designed to keep you busy and social with your friends. They’re NOT designed to have your audience sit paying attention for an hour straight. WebinarJam is the opposite. Our webinar room features only the presenter(s) screen, and the live chat with people that are all watching the webinar — making it much harder to get distracted by something shiny. [Try WebinarJam now.]( You miss out on micro-commitments: It’s a quirk of marketing that if you can get someone to perform one action, however small, you increase the likelihood of getting them to perform a more involved action. This is one of the reasons why we get people to register for webinars rather than just letting them turn up on the day. However, watching a YouTube video recording or showing up to a last-minute live stream on Facebook requires no registration — and thus no micro-commitment. This means it will then be harder to get them to take the second action, and eventually buy your product. Limited Features: While you can screen share, this functionality is clunky at best on Facebook, making it challenging to switch back to your webcam. You can’t upload your slide presentation the way you can in WebinarJam. You can’t share files directly with attendees. You can’t bring an attendee onto your virtual stage to chat and share their screen. You can’t send reminders and follow-up emails to your registrants, or draw directly on the screen to further illustrate your point. You can’t interject a pre-recorded video and then return right back to the live (at least not without other complex and pricey software). But you can do all that, and more, with even the most basic version of [WebinarJam.]( So now I have to ask you, {NAME}, why haven't you made the leap to get WebinarJam for yourself? You’ve been opening my emails, you’re clearly interested in Webinars, and WebinarJam is not only one of the most powerful, but one of the most affordable webinar platforms on the market. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables.
