Last Chance to Get Access to Next Weeks Webby ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌
The page was published last weekend and since then has been republished and submitted to Google multiple times but has yet to be indexed. We have actually found this to be the case with many if our test pages, especially orphaned pages. They can take 7 to 10+ days to index on less authoritative sites, even when submitting to Search Console. As of this morning, we still do not see the URL in Google but as of writing the last paragraph, it appears to be indexed now! So, let's look at the results (we were very surprised): Every single test indexed… This obviously means that last week's test failure was not due to the CSS not getting indexed, but possibly the Unicode or something else. What we do know is that every single way that we have hidden text in this test was indexable and is clearly being taken into account for the SERPs. Even to the point that Google pulls the hidden content as the metadata and in some cases pulled our GMB. These are some exciting finds but of course, is only going to lead to more testing. Join us next week where we explore how we can leverage this hidden content for rankings, as well as dig into why our last tests may not have indexed.
