[Progressive Caucus PAC |Text 'CPC' to 20704] Emails like these are an important aspect of our progressive strategy so we can keep in touch with our supporters. If you want to receive fewer emails, [click here.]( If you want to unsubscribe, [click here.]( Big Pharma, Big Oil, and other corporate interests have in past election cycles spent many millions of dollars attacking progressive candidates. ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ Friends, I’m writing today to ask you to [make a contribution to the Congressional Progressive Caucus PAC and help elect candidates with the guts to take on corporate greed.]( I am asking for your support because it was not long ago that the idea of Medicare for All was dismissed and ridiculed by the corporate media and political establishment of this country. Too radical, they said. Fringe. Crazy. Pie-in-the-sky. Free college and canceling student debt. Same thing. Climate change as the single greatest threat facing our species and our planet. They laughed. Increasing the minimum wage. Forget about it. It used to be that on many issues of great importance, I was one of only a very few voices fighting for working people on Capitol Hill. Today, the Progressive Caucus has more than 100 members, and we’re seeing more and more progressives — particularly young people and people of color — win elections now than ever before. But our fight is only beginning — in the midst of all the struggles facing our nation and our planet, we cannot simply remain on the defensive. And that means electing progressive leaders who will fight to protect social security, raise the minimum wage, get big money out of politics, and guarantee health care as a human right. Let’s come together in support of candidates who are willing to take on the billionaire class and the rising far-right. Candidates who are prepared to fight for justice. [Please make a $27 contribution to the Progressive Caucus and help support strong progressive candidates across the country. I wouldn’t ask if it weren’t so important.]( Big Pharma, Big Oil, and other corporate interests have in past election cycles spent many millions of dollars attacking progressive candidates. In 2022 alone, right-wing billionaires funded millions of dollars in outside spending against progressive candidates in competitive primaries. Those funds were often used by super PACs to run outrageous and dishonest attack ads. The good news is that despite the avalanche of right-wing spending, progressives have still been able to elect many strong candidates. The bad news is that some excellent progressive candidates have been defeated by this right-wing and corporate money. It should not be a radical proposition to say that the very wealthiest people in this country should not be able to control our political system and who represents us in government. This great nation and its government belongs to ALL of our people, not just right-wing billionaires and their Super PACs. [So please, make a contribution to the Congressional Progressive Caucus PAC and help progressive candidates take on the outrageous sums of money taking over our political system.]( It’s not going to be easy, but as long as we stand together, we can create a nation that leads the world in the struggle for peace, and for economic, social, racial, and environmental justice. Thank you for playing a part in that struggle. In solidarity, Bernie Sanders [DONATE]( This message was sent to: [{EMAIL}](#) [Click here to receive fewer emails.]( | [Click here to unsubscribe.]( [Progressive Caucus PAC |Text 'CPC' to 20704](#) Thousands of Progressives have signed up to receive our messages straight to their phone!
