We’re going to need a better plan of action — at the very least, more solutions and treatments to truly remove this health threat. [Wealth Daily logo] Will COVID Be Over in 2022? [Monica Savaglia Photo] By [Monica Savaglia]( Written Jan 04, 2022 Welcome to the new year! I’m happy to see that you’re back and eager for the latest market news. It took me a little longer to get out of bed this morning and to get ready to get back to the work grind, but I’m glad to be here. I spent the last two weeks relaxing and spending time with my family, who lives in the Midwest. Here in Baltimore, we don’t get too much snow — at least not enough to enjoy before it’s melted the next day. So I was very excited to spend my time in Wisconsin bundled up and enjoying the snow. I even did some sledding, which is something I haven’t done since I lived in Wisconsin as a child. You can imagine how sore I was the next day after acting like I was a kid again. COVID-19 and the omicron variant attempted to put a damper on my holiday travel, but I was determined to not let my plans be ruined like they were last year. I don’t get much time to spend with my family since I’m in Baltimore and life can be too busy to get away, so every moment that I get to spend with them is cherished. And I really needed to visit my family and recharge. Can We Be Done With COVID Already? I believe a lot of people were in a similar mindset as me when it came to holiday plans this year. There’s just something about being with family that kind of grounds me and I needed that to get through the winter doldrums. Especially with the continuous news about COVID-19 cases significantly rising and the lack of testing kits and testing sites available to the public. At the end of December, Biden announced that he had made a mistake with not having enough testing kits available to the public. And, well, he was right. That was a big mistake. The administration knew about the omicron variant after the Thanksgiving holiday, so they should have known to start getting more testing available to the public instead of tirelessly urging people to get vaccinated and get boosters. Instead, those 500 million at-home testing kits weren’t going to be available until early in January. And that would be in addition to the free at-home test kits that states and cities have already been distributing. Somehow, I don’t think those extra 500 million at-home testing kits are going to be enough, especially as more people will most likely need to test themselves before returning to work going forward. More Mix Messaging Last Monday, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) cut the amount of time that it recommends COVID-positive people to stay in quarantine from 10 days to five days (if they’re not showing symptoms). There was no emphasis on being tested, which had some people very frustrated with these changes to guidelines and, of course, some going to Twitter to make a joke out of the CDC. Here’s a comment that gave me a little laugh: [Tweet CDC Guidelines Joke] After backlash from the CDC’s announcement, President Biden’s chief medical adviser, Dr. Anthony Fauci, mentioned that there may be a new consideration with those updated guidelines, saying, “There has been some concern about why we don’t ask people at the five-day period to get tested. That is something that is now under consideration.” In a few days, I’m sure we’ll get an announcement from CDC or Fauci suggesting or advising employers to encourage those who are returning to work who tested positive to get tested before returning. The #1 Strategy for Biotech Stocks? It’s no secret that biotech is the most exciting investment arena there is. There’s never a shortage of demand for new treatments for the world’s worst diseases, like cancer, Alzheimer’s, and arthritis. And with my new trading system, “Project Greenlight,” you’ll always know with up to 95% confidence which of those new medicines will be approved by the FDA and which won’t... This could set investors up to make six figures or more in biotech profits. And right now, there's a tiny biotech firm trading for pennies on the dollar with a medicine that’s on the brink of FDA approval... [Learn more about this unique opportunity today.]( A Desperate Call for More Solutions I don’t know about you, but all this gives me a headache. Trying to stay up to date on what I’m supposed to be doing and all the potential restrictions is exhausting. The messaging and solutions need to be more cohesive and organized. Tests should have been a bigger priority, especially this far into the pandemic. For the past year, the Biden administration has seen vaccines as the biggest priority for stopping COVID-19, and now we’re a year into vaccines being available to the public and we are still in a tough situation with the infection rate. According to the CDC, 62% of the total U.S. population is fully vaccinated — meaning these people have received two doses. There are still people who refuse to be vaccinated for their reasons, so we can’t just rely on vaccines to solve this problem. If they haven’t been fully vaccinated yet then we can't depend on them to get vaccinated anytime soon. So maybe we need more than just vaccines to solve this pandemic so that we can really be over it. We’re going to need more at-home testing kits — that are easily accessible. We’re going to need new treatments that will help with symptoms and that will be readily available... Treatments like a recently discovered [COVID-killing nasal spray.]( Those people who are afraid of needles and don’t want to get jabbed could turn to this alternative treatment. The biotech company behind this nasal spray could be part of one of the biggest medical breakthroughs. The spray that this company has produced has the power to stop COVID-19 symptoms in seven days. Forbes recently said, “This nasal spray may be the breakthrough we’ve been waiting for to end the pandemic.” These types of medical breakthroughs don’t come around often, especially from such a small biotech. However, this biotech has a lot to offer. Curious yet? To learn more about this COVID-killing nasal spray and the tiny biotech behind it, I suggest reviewing [this]([well-detailed report](. There’s almost always more than one solution to the problem.
